A sound between Dakar, Guatemala City and Los Angeles
The new album "ON TOUR" by Cécile Nordegg

MAY, 2025

With ON TOUR Cécile Nordegg presents an album that is more than just music—it’s a statement. Created between Dakar, Guatemala City, and Los Angeles, the project weaves together cultures, voices, and instruments into a sound world that is raw, poetic, and electrifying. With over 450,000 followers, Cécile Nordegg is one of Austria’s most influential musical voices—celebrated digitally, internationally connected, and with a clear artistic stance: music as a universal language.

Music as Dialogue—Spontaneous, Raw, Connecting

ON TOUR is based on spontaneous live recordings—musical dialogues between artists from different cultures. African rhythms, French chanson, and traditional instruments merge into a shared, multilingual sound world. Cécile Nordegg sings in German, English, French, and Wolof (spoken in Senegal), making the album’s linguistic openness audible.

For Cécile Nordegg, music is a universal language—connecting, transcending borders, and on equal footing. From the pulsating rhythms of West Africa to the vibrant sounds of Central America and the dynamic scene of Los Angeles, ON TOUR tells stories of bumpy roads, unknown landscapes, foreign scents, sand, earth, water, light—and above all, of people who became friends.

Sound & Collaborations: Global Fusion with Purpose

International musicians contribute to the album with kora, marimba, saxophone, piano, percussion, and voices in various languages—equally, authentically, and in direct exchange. The result: a vibrant fusion that naturally unites world music, jazz, soul, and urban influences.

An intercultural jazz experience
The new album "Hofpalaver" by Cécile Nordegg

MAY, 2025

Reknowed artist Cécile Nordegg presents her latest musical highlight: the album "HOFPALAVER." The Austrian singer, who enjoys great international acclaim, aims to delight audiences in German-speaking countries.

In her new album, the internationally successful singer Cécile Nordegg combines jazz, Viennese tradition and French esprit in a unique way and takes listeners into a fascinating world of sound that has rarely been heard and is more than worth hearing live and on record.

"HOFPALAVER" celebrates Viennese song in all its nuances – interwoven with jazzy rhythms and the melodies of French chanson. Cécile Nordegg combines Vienna's imperial court history with a modern, almost revolutionary attitude to life. Her performances are not just concerts, but intercultural encounters, with local musicians regularly joining the stage as special guests. Thus, each concert becomes a unique, rhythmic rendezvous between yesterday and today, with stories of love, desire, and melancholy.
